This piece is really special to me. I painted it after spending a quiet morning walking with my mother and children along Carbis Bay beach — the colours of the sea were unreal, shifting from deep indigo to soft jade as the waves rolled in.
From above, the beach felt like a dreamscape — tiny beachgoers dot the scene like memories in motion.
I wanted to capture that feeling of peace and perspective, the kind you only get by the sea.
