A unique departure from canvas, these original driftwood paintings are born from the shorelines of the South West. Each "canvas" was hand-selected during my walks along the rugged Cornish and Devonian coasts—weathered timber seasoned by the salt and Atlantic tides.
Onto these organic surfaces, I’ve painted miniature aerial seascapes, where the natural grain of the wood meets the vibrant, translucent turquoises of the surf. Featuring tiny, hand-painted characters enjoying the beach, these works celebrate the joyful connection between people and the sea. By leaving portions of the raw driftwood exposed, each piece tells a story of the ocean’s journey from the shoreline to your home.
