‘A Sense of Freedom’ Salcombe is famous for its incredible harbour, one of my favourite things to do is sit on Start Pint and watch the famous Salcombe Yawls racing through the harbour. Over the winter months, I spent time foraging driftwood along the shores of the estuary and found this aged driftwood piece. It was the perfect blank canvas to ‘A Sense of Freedom’
The painting comes beautifully presented in a stunning white-washed oak frame with a hand-painted white centre, echoing the sea foam and light of the estuary. It’s a bright, textural tribute to Salcombe’s many estuary beaches.
